They are necessary, for the exact reasons that the teacher gives.
And I thought when he moved on to "a++hole" and he grabbed the pink chalk and 
started t o write, that that round "w" with a dot was some Korean lettering 
spelling "a++....." til it dawned on me.. that it wasn't.

I'd like to learn 'Intelnationar Engrish,' prease.
