For some unfathomable reason, Kim Thayil did some guitar work on the
Presidents first album.

 

Then again, he also worked with Sunn O))) / Boris (Altar, just ordered it),
Pigeonhed (Steve Fisk), No WTO (Jello, Christ Novoselic) and Johnny Cash.

You are right. We do come from different worlds. 

Well,not really. We're quibbling about the placement of Fugazi albums in
their canon. More people have bought Presidents of the USA and Hootie and
the Blowfish LPs than Fugazi albums.
