Ah, one of those great movies that everyone loves but no one understands (what the hell were the apes at the beginning and the

bedroom at the end all about?). The MUSIC was cool though...

I am beginning to think the Monolith from
2001: A Space Odyssey was a Burman tube
amp draped in proper priestly garb, http://www.garnersclassics.com/pics/2001/monolith.jpg , godly and revered thing that it is.

(a precursor to Stonehenge, maybe?)
