[kj] OT: Cros-Stitched Eyes

I don't like Ciril's cover of "Romeo's Distress" on the Rozz Williams tribute "The Tongue Achieves the Dialect". For one, the guitar is really weak on it, the signature Rikk Agnew riffs were so disrespected. And I cannot stand the singer's vocals on a Rozz Williams/Christian Death song. Sorry, Oliver...will you be mad at me?

Another band in this vein that are fairly recent, and also from Cali, 
are Ciril. A "blah" name for a band, I think, but also like Rudimentary 
Peni with even a few Christian Death covers thrown in for good measure. 
(And even a Bikini Kill cover!)

I forget if Nata and/or Tim have heard Ciril, but if you like 
Cross-Stitched Eyes, you'd prob. like Ciril.
