I'll bet the labels that Killing Joke end up with have a lot to do with Jaz's general contempt of major labels. He probably doesn't trust the ones that might actually have some money to promote them, so he ends up with little "boutique" labels that can't even keep the record in print. While both Jaz and Fripp have lots to say about how sleazy EG became,  by comparison Fripp has done a much better job at regaining control over his work and his royalties.  If Jaz could get a little more of the Frippsters business sense he would be doing himself a favor. 
    A little less arrogance (and drinking) combined with a little more discipline and commitment would go a long for Jaz and Geordie.   They are so ridiculously talented yet equally self defeating it seems.  -   Carl

    You may have misspelled that; i think's spelled,  "rei$$ues cow."
 
    I'm still trying t o understand how Devo ended up with a Warner Bros. deal and 
    Killing Joke ends up with much much smaller (teensy weensy) labels.
