[kj] FW: public image reform

I think there's enough PT fans on the list to create a sub community...think
it's the best band I've been put onto through this list (thanks Peace :)
 
I don't even know where to start raving about The Incident, totally
captivating. Can't complain about the heaviness, and I love how they use it
as required, if the mood of the song drifts that way so be it, as opposed to
the riff rock I'm used to which is built around it.
 
Great Expectations, title track, Drawing the Line, Time Flies, Black
Dhalia...It's absolutely a spliff / headphones / full attention / play right
through album.
 
I also just recently 'discovered' Shesmovedon / Last Chance to Exit' on
Lightbulb Sun...*jaw drops*
 
These guys and a few others are saving this decade's reputation.

Another PT fan on the list :) I must admit that I am suprised - it seems to
me that the polished PT sound would be the antithesis to some of the
preferred music of the Gatherers.
Or am I talking shit?
 
Geoff (major PT fan willing to spend $AUS120 on the deluxe version of PT's
latest!)
