[kj] FW: public image reform

IMO, KJ is worth 45 pounds (for my Brit. compatriots, I'm afraid my Septic
keyboard doesn't have the pound symbol). PIL? Mmmm... not so much.
My Porcupine Tree tix were only about $70 or so for 2, for the record.

Cheers,

Pretty much exactly my thought process. I would really enjoy the gig, but
£45 is taking the piss. That would be the most I've ever paid for a rock
concert (unless it was to a tout, which I do very, very rarely). Even a day
at Blackpool Rebellion was only two thirds of that, and I guarantee I
wouldn't enjoy PiL more than KJ and UK Decay.

£45 a fucking ticket!!!! FORTY FIVE FUCKING QUID! They can fuck right
off. Watching Dame Lydon forget the words and talk embarrassing bollocks
between the songs for that much? No chance. It'll probably make the
"cabaret" line-up look like the classic years.
Almost a quarter of a century since I've seen PiL, but I'm fucked if I'm
paying that much. The butter-selling greedy twat that he is.
