Personally I'm not a fan of the Wiltern. we saw the arctic monkeys there and they had the general admission floor separated into tiers with security at each level... felt a bit confinded.

is the mayan theatre still open? i seem to remember that place had great acoustics...

Ah, our man inside, of course. May I suggest the historical Wiltern** Theater with a set of mezzanine seats towards the front ledge.

The info comes from our man on the inside. It doesn't sound like the band have decided on a venue yet, just that they are commited to play *someplace* in LA in Spring 2010. I would guess they will hit major cities like LA, Chicago, NYC and a couple other big markets over a month long period much like they did in late '08.
