[kj] (OT) Cleveland Rocks?

I went to college there Chris! The place to be is the "flats" (sort of under the downtown, on the lake). I think the best club now is called The Grog Shop (which is probably in the flats, but not sure)> I can't tell  you how many good shows I saw in Cleveland from 81-85 (Damned, Gang of Four, New Order w/A CERTAIN RATIO (wow!), Go-Gos, Ramones, Bad Manners, Minutemen, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, Gov. Issue, Flipper, Replacements, Violent Femmes, OMD, Laurie Anderson, Chili Peppers (boring), Meat Puppets, Gang Green, Chesterfield Kings, Run-DMC just to name a few). The best shows by far were the US punk (esp. SST records) bands. And be sure to constantly listen to 88.1 WRUW (where I did shows) and WCSB!

Myself and my smarter half will be entering the city of Cleveland late tonight (Thursday).  Anything going on for the weekend.  She'll be at a Chemist meeting Fri AM.  I've done the basic stuff.  Any shows?
