I am a huge fan of Abba. Don't know their story, but their music is forever welcome to grace my ears.

My sister had Boney M's NIGHTFLIGHT TO VENUS album, which I remember not entirely hating (not as much as, say, her Evelyn "Champagne" King records). And if you can't appreciate the majesty of "S.O.S" by Abba, then you've got ice in your veins.

(where did you hear that?)

If so then damn, Jaz has got taste. Seriously. I got Boney M's "best of.." and it makes
me wanna hear the songs on the regular albums.
Anyone know what kind of reggae, or even ska, Jaz & Co. like listening to (besides Big Youth)? Or what any in the band are listening to now?

Oh, and BTW, we just had another fuckin' quake here in L.A. (measured 4.1 or so just before 4pm),
the 4th or so since last sunday; thanks for asking. So far only books getting knocked off some shelves
but otherwise O.K. I was also on the phone doing a phone interview when the H.R. lady on the other end
semi-panicked and shrieked as I heard her shuffling under her desk *dial tonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne*

poor baby she must be from out of town. =)

I understand Jaz is also a fan of Boney M and Abba.
A friend witnessed him dancing and singing along to dancing queen ;)

There were a couple of blokes in there - Nile Rodgers is a legendary guitarist these days. Bit of a rhythm monster!
