[kj] The Gathering box set

That's the source rather than the DVD. Mine's the same, but as Mr Chapman
says, it's great to have any footage. IIRC, it was priced as a standard CD,
so the DVD is "free" in any case (which, given its provenance, is quite
right too).

well bloody NTSCblack and dotty white for a start followed by missing
footage ..and the fucking audio side is damaged brand new out the box plus i
bought it in oxford street ..NOT exactly an easy return trip for a refund

I was quite pleased with the DVD stuff, actually.

 

Anyway, you need to complain to Jonn Chapman, as he is thanked in the liner
notes for the video material.

you mentioned backlighting at gigs and i too am noticing this 
it seems to be a ploy to stop fans taking photo's 
the prodigy at wembley did the same 
must be worried about people making money ou t of them on the net 
bought unperverted pantomime the other day

The 'artwork' looks like a mixture between Mr Bean & those flying things in
Highlander 3 - ie, ridiculous!

i hope they're better than the ones in the original issue (or are they the
same?) the forum dates were heavilly backlit so the photos were very poor in
some cases. i'm not buying the re-issue so soon after paying 40 f-in quid
for the originals.and in any case the artwork for the re-issue is
