The Day The Earth Stood Still was a doomed piece of crap once the script was

greenlighted for filming.  It really wouldn't have mattered who they cast as

"Klaatu" in that turd, the movie still would have stunk like a flaming bag 
of shit.

BTW, the original is also one of my favs.
