Don't need to leave the battery out for 10
minutes if you have the reset jumper.
You can use that to reset. However as mentioned take note of all the settings.

Nothing is a bigger pain than having the bios set
up to AHCI and then it tries to boot as IDE
or vice verse. Your machine won't load normally
and it'll irritate you till you figure it out. :)
