This is it - I don't think any of us *aren't* bigoted in some way. I'm extremely intolerant of religion, though I don't give religious people a hard time of course. Unless they ask for it ;)

OK, I accept that the term "bigot" has idiomatic perjorative connotations, but what it really means is:

 

one who is strongly partial to one's own group, religion, race, or politics and is intolerant of those who differ

Therefore I suggest that, yes, all religious people are bigots unless that religion makes no judgment about the pagans who do not subscribe to the same doctrines.

 

I am certainly a bigot myself in many areas; while most religious values are common sense in my view (although I am perfectly prepared to work my ox on the Sabbath), there are some lifestyles and political outlooks that I disapprove of, and I am therefore bigoted. To cite an example, I am outraged by the Jehovah's Witnesses' ability to allow their children to die rather than accept plasma transfusions.

 

I rarely choose to impose my bigotry on practitioners of such lifestyles and political positions, although it does to some extent depend on how irritated I am at the manner of espousal. However, to make my position clear, I am strongly pro-gay rights, to the extent of having acted as a witness to (to date) two civil partnerships.

 

I therefore oppose your motion.

Does this mean all religious people are "bigots"? Inquiring minds want to know.
Or is anyone with a particular sense of "morals" or "beliefs" automatically branded
a bigot? IMHO, to personally dislike/disagree with something is not bigotry. 
To shout at, hate, discriminate is.

Therefor, I choose to pass the motion that not liking/agreeing a lifestyle is NOT bigotry.

Well, while I defend to the death your right to be a bigot, I'm disappointed to hear that.
 
Presumably your moral and spiritual compunctions will prevent you from attending the Heaven gig?
