I could be wrong on this but didn't the Allies let the camps sit n' stew
for a few years first, not even bothering to bomb the rail lines and depots, etc.
that could've slowed the death rates at those camps?

It was the U.K that  also put a stop to concentration camps.
Ending slavery, destroying Nazism and Fascism and disposing of a dictator.
Does any other Country have a better CV than that ?

Ever the wind-up merchant, hey Pete?
Now condone concentration camps.
You can also try to gain the support of many Irish, Scots and Welsh when you bracket them all as a UNITED Kingdom.
Now that is far too much troll fodder..

You mean the slave trade which Britain fought to abolish ? The slave trade that went on for hundreds of years between Africa and Arabia before Britain joined in ? The slave trade in which Africans participated in by selling their fellow Countrymen to Foreigners.?
The U.K. did not start slavery and we were the first Country to abolish it .
Slavery still goes on to this day , you can buy a Congolese Man for about U.S.$100 in a Congolese market .
The U.K.s  record on Slavery is quite good , compared to other Countries .

He speaks like a typical Tory with a plum up his bum.
Maybe he has a few points, but it is the same crap as in the US, everyone pointing fingers and not working 'a way out'. Highlighting some scary consequences, e.g. education..but the problems there are not new, as they are not new in the US. In fact,  i think a big underlying factor to all of what is happening right now, has been the neglect of a good education system, for decades..
A lot of  Britain's problems come from America having held them by the nads for so long. 30 years ago the EU might have been a good idea. And I am not into that proud to be British, Nationalistic BS.

Is Daniel Hannan's accent the usual for S.E.Eng. or is it from somewhere else?

Now if only U.S.Presidents would be spoken to as directly...
