[kj] Reformation

Think what you want, what I saw was a gig I'll always remember, and very
possibly the best musician I've ever seen live in Steve Morse, both in terms
of technical skill and sheer grinning pleasure throughout the whole gig. The
band seemed absolutely chuffed to be there ad it felt like an honour to
witness it. I remember it like it was yesterday. Lemme know if your opinion
about it ever includes actual experience. Some bands improve with age.

i admire your staunch support but must agree that to see them in the 70's
would have been best and i'm sorry to say that i've noticed with these
revivals that years of treading the boards has taken it's toll [ that and
the drink and drugs probably ] so it's all a bit of a storm in a teacup for
me

Stephen I saw Deep Purple with Steve Morse, not the testy and over-rated
Blackmore, and they fucking blew my mind! I will ALWAYS take the opportunity
to see those boys whenever I can, and give it heaps like I always do at
concerts I like, and I'll buy as many of my mates tickets as deserve them
and I can afford. Can't speak highly enough about them. I don't waste my
time lamenting shit I've missed. Too much.

*sob*

On the subject of bands reforming and as mentioned in this article, there
can't be a lot left.
We've had Sex Pistols, Magazine, Gang Of Four, KJ (original), Faith No More,
Pixies...the list goes on and on.
The one I'd like to see again is a first two LP era PiL.

Brian.
