That’s reminded me - I've got a Robedoor & Pocahaunted CD somewhere 
really really good - its like a 40-odd minute version of Hawkwind's 
'Seeing it as you really are' (a good thing in my opinion) - very eerie
and atmospheric

I just got the newest Robedoor album, and I like it. Me, I would have 
called it dark ambient but I guess the kids are calling this "doom 
drone" nowadays, or...?

Anyway, can anyone recommend some good "doom drone" bands in this vein?
