well...

last night saw coldplay at aucklands 'vertor arena'... must say, it was not bad!!
supporting was mercury rev, whom one of my mates loves and raves about... not bad, but the crowd was not really into it and the arena only half full so the vibe was not all that great. i didnt mind it, but would have got a better idea of them if it was just them at a smaller venue..

coldplay were actually great to see live, the singer dude put alot of energy into it and was quite entertaining.. they had 3 changes of playing space, which was kinda cool, gotta admire when a band strips down gear and plays from the middle of the back of the venue..
i didnt know most of the names of the songs, but recognised most of them (coz my girlyfriend plays them a bit) and in that environment it was quite a powerful force..

IN OTHER NEWS.....

i went prepared... i had a ring in my pocket... after my gf's (Jo's) fav song, yellow, i proposed...

... she said yes! (i knew she would tho!)

so, i am now engaged!!!

=)
