The food was incredible.  It was the first time I'd had Lebanese food, and I was blown away.  Loved it ever since.

(Jel - they may be thin on the ground in sarf London, but there's plenty of good Lebanese restaurants in NW, especially the Edgeware Road area.  And did anyone else ever eat in Tarboush in Wardour Street?  Amazing place, sadly now gone.)

Since we're reminiscing about it - the other two highlights (i.e. aside from the food) were, for me, Jaz playing the piano and Jaz giving us a blast of G7 from a cassette.  Shame that that never saw the light of day...

 Do we know if there is going to be Lebanese food again? Cos that was delicious at the Notting Hill Lectures. It was lovely food, not had Lebanese since then, we're quite bereft of decent food venues in deepest, darkest Sarf London!
