[kj] [OT] Spear Of Destiny

No argument there. I *much* prefer ToH. But I have their stuff easily
accessible on CD.

However, I don't much care for "Outland", mainly because of the presence of
"Never Take Me Alive". I never got the appeal of that song, and I gave up on
them with that album.

I'd be really interested to hear what the "Westworld" album would have
sounded like without the Mick Jones production wankery all over it.

I only have OUTLAND, but I'm pretty into that (if only for "Never Take Me
Alive"). I much prefer Theatre of Hate, though, if truth be told.

I may be having amid-life crisis here, but I'm wanting to listen to the
first two Spear Of Destiny albums (Grapes Of Wrath & One-Eyed Jacks), the
only ones I like.

My vinyl is long-term inaccessible, and I see that both albums have been
recently issued on CD. Reports suggest, however, that they have been
mastered from vinyl, which doesn't bode well.

Has anyone here heard these CDs, and are they worth my time, on the basis
that I like the albums?

Thanks,
