Elitist!
And I thinkBig Paul moonlights as Jaz's personal
curator/wax-makeup expert. T h a t ' s why he came back(?). hmm..

Nah I think as much as Big Paul might lament their potential success, there’s a good chance it’d fuck them if it actually happened. They’re probably far better like they are…a good little secret for a surprising amount of people with good taste in music.
Oh, and you lot ;)

That makes 6 copies, I got the last one. I had to fight some guy at Amoeba Records
for it til he realized it wasn't the latest Killing Time cd but that he was one bin off.
[same mistake happens online too] Just handed the Hossannas disc to me and mumbled
something about feeling sorry for me and would I wanna listen to another band instead. That bastard.
We should do like the Scientologists do,hook up with hot actresses, and buy each
latest Killing Joke release, send them back to the warehouse at Killing Joke Central,
take more Killing Joke money and go back and buy more and more so the sales numbers
shoot up high and the cd shops have to order lots and lots more (of the previously bought)
cds, making front page news: Killing Joke: 25,000,000sold! Buy yours today!

5 copies in the US (and I have one of them). On the other hand, KJ 2003 probably sold 300, Democracy 200--not since Pandemonium have they had any commercial radio airplay (Pandemonium/Millenium and Money is not Our God were very very minor radio "hits").

I don't know if it was at all doable but if they would've cut down the track lengths and included Afterburner and Universe B in the album instead of relegating them only to some single, the album would've been vastly improved, and had made the band a bigger footprint on the current music scene.
Anyone know how many Hosannas... cd sold?
