Probably. Definitely if Simple Minds play Birmingham...

Will there be rivers of blood, Ade? Will there?

But I like your reasoning. By extension, you approve of my liking Simple
Minds. Vindication! Yeah!

Let's see how the economy goes. I think the parallels are clear,
but the amount of fuckedness is relative.

Let's face it, if whitey is losing jobs left right & centre here
& the govt keep letting foreigners in to do the work, no matter
how distasteful it is, it will have to be stopped, or clearly the
govt want to cause racial chaos. I don't care how hard it is to
stomach, what will be the excuse from the powerful when the place
erupts? "The public are racists & that is not acceptable" as the
MP's are led out into the square & hung..

The people in charge need to factor-in the opinions of the masses,
even if they are distasteful. I thought this was a 'democracy', not
a forced left-wing utopia. "This is how you must think", "This is
who you must like", etc, etc... fucking left-wing brain-washing, no
better than the other extreme, ie, both fucked.

I can't see how the circumstances are similar. Germany was fucked after
WWI, they also were forced to take the blame for what was essentially a
european arms race that culminated in a war, and pay large reparations
(although I don't think they ever paid much). The UK is in a much
different position now....isn't it?
