I just saw a rerun of "Scrubs" last night where the doctor on duty tells a patient that infection is the #1 threat from a hospital to its patients, so everyone beware.

Seriously, if anyone sees a Doctor, Nurse or any other medical employee not washing hands, using bad hygiene etc..report them! Or at least put them on the spot and embarass them.

My last stay in hospital wasn't too bad in terms of hygiene. That was Weston General. Previously all my multiple 'hospital holidays' were in Torbay which was a different issue completely; it was a miracle that I only came of their carrying MRSA just once, after a dozen or so incarcerations...
