Whiteout (or was it Exorcism?) cropped up on Top Gear a few years back. If Bela Lugosi's Dead can get used in a car advert, KJ should be fine. I suspect their absence from such things is more due to poor management that anything else...

I can totally picture a sports sedan ad opening up to "We Have Joy" Peel version.
Or a recently legalized medical pot dispensary ad to the "Turn to Red" instrumental.

Is the deal with Universal a 'recording' deal, or more for publishing and licensing? Are we going to hear KJ in soundtracks and adverts etc? I think the back cat has been reissued a few times already.
