If you like Rush, try a band called Van Der Graaf Generator.  They sound a lot like Rush, only the music is a lot darker and not near as upbeat.

I trust that they were copies of all your films, or you have back ups,
at least?!

Oh yes, Peart used to be a committed Randhead. Check out Anthem on Fly By
Night.

But he's grown up a bit since.

I'm just starting to get into Rush, gonna have to boycott them if Peart is
an Ayn Rand robot...? Have you ever met an Ayn Rand devotee? They're
impossible.

Rush is one band that my comic book guy friends in High School introduced me
to as being intellectually challenging, and they were abso-fucking-lutely
right.  Neal Peart is a rawk legend, to say the least.  And no, I don't like
Ayn Rand.  Uggh....lol

How surreal is it that THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR, after his steroid-bitch-tits
incomprehensible romp through WWF (see the vid of the other wrestlers and
WWF notables laughing at him), converted to Objectivism and tried to get
up in front of people and make sense about it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laiZgrIpbcA&feature=related

This guy shoulda been in The Wrestler. He's seriously thinking about, or
has, changed his surname by deed poll to Warrior.. Lucky family.

"Live for yourself, there's no one else worth living for . . ."

Pearts more "Randian" lyrics always grated a bit (see also all of 2112)

Musically they always made up for it though
