Just shooting the shit.....it seems good taste and eccentricity are soul mates in this brave new world.  I would expect most attending the MJ memorial would think Edgar Allan Poe was a "old dude", possibly a US President.  Sorry, feeling rather cynical after this nightmare.

I vividly remember being introduced to his writing in a middle school literature class (by a slightly eccentric teacher, albeit one with excellent taste). It was a great experience.
