[kj] [OT] Magazine tracks...

God I can just imagine it. I love Bauhaus, but all that Bowie-fying on a KJ
track? Argh.

I suppose he could do "Goodbye To The Village" and then I could not listen
to that version too.

He was responsible for the best version of Cale's "Rosegarden Funeral Of
Sores", though.

Yeah, I discovered them (Magazine) through a Peter Murphy cover of "The
Light Pours Out of Me", which was on the same album ("If the World Fails to
Fall Apart") that had a cover of Pere Ubu's "Final Solution". All hail Mr
Murphy for having incredible taste........wonder when he is going to do a KJ
cover ;)

Folk: You're right; Magazine did not take off here at all. They were
definitely not even in the popular "new wave" category back in the day. But
glad they're still around!

Did Magazine ever take off in the States?
Always liked their music, mainly the first 3, but I never really hear any
Americans really talk of them :/

Actually, to get all Cheggers about it, they would be in me all time top
10...most days..
