Yeah, both Hawkwind and ICU had a bit of habit of turning 3 minutes tracks into 20 minute ramblings.  Rarely a good idea!

I saw ICU last year (I think – or was it the year before ?) – for old times sake ;o) – Nik’s still doing a grand job of winding Dave Brock up, his latest venture is resurrecting the Hawklords name along with various other ex-Hawkfolk. Apparently they played a blinder at the Robert Calvert memorial night in Margate a few months back. I haven’t Space Ritual net recently – the last time I got a bit bored about the time Psychedelic Warlords (or was it You shouldn’t do that ?) hit the 20 minute mark.

ICU were such a brilliant band in their heyday, though !!
