"Rear Window" is my absolute favourite film.  Love the whole feel of it.
I also love "Frenzy" - the amusing bits with the detective's wife and
her culinary delights.

 

He made some crap as well though.

Don't get me started. Hitchcock is my absolute favourite film director,
despite his occasional tendency to be schoolboyish about smut (the train
going into the tunnel at the end of "North By Northwest", for example),
and the alarming frequency of unconvincing process shots (Tippi Hedren
on her horse in "Marnie", etc.) .

heres another director who will hold you in suspence--alfred
hitchcock--any of his movies wil do,but  personal favs of mine
are--vertigo,marnie and spellbound ;)
