Everyone "knows" because we live in an age of mass communication where
people can spread their theories free (or at least cheaply) to a mass
audience.

The fact that big paul is helping to write these lyrics should help balance
the melodrama that jaz tends to lean towards in his lyrics. I for one could
go a lifetime without hearing the big green monster voice singing to me on a
kj disc again.

 

Then again I hope this won't turn into 'old guys celebrating being old
rockstars' sing song hour also

Most people won't have seen them in 20 years. That's when they were
'popular'.
I reckon the average PiL punter is in their 50s, by now.
 
I thought Lydon won a law suit against McLaren, too? I seem to remember some
Sounds/NME article showing McLaren giving Lydon Da Money :/ 
 
I am hoping that the new KJ material is more on the lines of Transmission.
You can't play the angst and angry all the time..and most of the lyrics are
just 'obvious' now.
