Back in the 80s Detroit hardcore scene you could bet your teeth that if you saw a skinhead with white laces that they were racist.? Nowadays you see Hot Topic "punkers" with Docs and white laces sporting a Clash t-shirt.? So now unless there is something blatant, subtle clothing does not mark them as "the enemy".? The racist skins tend to be a bit more subtle/ashamed/hiding/whatever about it nowadays.? At least in these parts.
