Just off for the train.

The pubs we frequent in Blackpool, all very close to the venue.

Scruffy Murphys on Corporation St. 
The Blue Room on Church Street
and the pub whose name I can't remeber just round the back of the church
across from the venue to the right.

So you may want to avoid them !!!
