[kj] Sonisphere

Holy crap, I'm shocked and stunned... a 30-min set at midday?
How... insulting. I'm surprised KJ didn't tell them to get stuffed.

And while I admire LoG's singer's taste, I had the misfortune of seeing his
dull-as-dishwater band last week. Tedious, tuneless grunt-by-numbers stuff.
I really don't get how they rose to such a hallowed status among the metal
crowd.
They were supporting Metallica... who were fucking great. The new stuff is
just a rerun of Master of Puppets/Justice for All-era material, but if you
like that sort of thing,
which I do, it was 2 hours of prime thrashing joy. And thankfully they
didn't play The Wait.
