Interesting. I'd say that "Implant" was in 6/8.

"Juda Goat", however, is mainly in 5/4.

However, I'm not Composer In Chief To The World, so perhaps I had better
defer to Jaz's superior knowledge.

Jaz pointed out in an interview (in one of those hard rock mags) that
Implant was in 5/4 time (like that jazz tune "Take 5", but very unusual for
a time signature).

Interesting observation. I wonder if techno can be considered urban folk in
its homeland (Detroit? Germany?)
And, whoever said if it's amplified and loud it can't be "grassroots"?

I think maybe the song Implant (the combo of lyrics/sound/style/overall
impact) was a different
take on their sound(?); I can't think of any close parallels in their
previous work.

Britain has no tradition of folk? Nonsense, especially if you wander around
Scotland, Wales and Ireland. Punk was a 'folk' movement, imo, so was early
rave.
I really like the 2k3 album, a lot, but no, the production and sounds
weren't new. Jaz had maybe just discovered a lot of techniques developed
through the 90s, particularly in electronic production.

Do I get burned for heresy, now?
