[kj] [great new ;)

That's excellent, and I applaud your precise notekeeping.

Our second youngest is now sufficiently dexterous to stage naptime dirty
protests, Bobby Sands style, by removing her nappy and twirling it around
her head like a bolas. Hope yours is more demure...

Best,

Darren

They did get a roasting but nowhere near as bad as that dished out to Aztec
Camera. It was picked up in the following week's music press as they all had
donned leather jackets, ruffled up their hair a bit and played something
akin to the UK Subs ... but the KJ punters weren't fooled at all ... we know
who they were ... twee twiddly twats ...

Pale Fountains and Heist at the Palais - missed them both though. I saw
Crown of Thorns support them in Swindon I thought they were okay. Were they
ones were the singer had two bits of wood that he kept banging or making
into a cross?

Wasn't it at the Palais that the Pale Fountains also supported the Joke
around that time? Seem to remember they didn't go down too well either... I
also recall hating Crown Of Thorns, but Play Dead were always the best KJ
support, imo.

administering similar punishment to that received by Roddy Frame of Aztec
