About the same for me. I wrote to the band (as I often did) from school just
after the first album came out, asking all sorts of things including what
the lyrics were. I received a brilliant letter in reply, with a handwritten
sheet of the lyrics. The problem was that they had been written in such an
illegible hand that I was unable to make out anything useful! Still got them
somewhere, although my vinyl is boxed in storage at the moment, and it's
probably in the LP sleeve.

 

Incidentally, I wonder if the first night setlist will follow the UK or US
version of the album (ie. Change after Complications or Primitive)? Still
sounds weird to me hearing Change as part of the album, as I played the UK
eight track album to death. Must have played it two or three times a day for
a couple of months.

Well well - I've wondered about some of those lyrics for.... about 25+ years
(since seeing KJ perform Pssyche on Whatever You Didn't Get turned me into a
devotee).

Who wrote KJ's early lyrics?  And when did that change to What I Did In My
Holidays by Jaz Coleman?
