[kj] [OT] More Palin

[Alexander Smith]

It's an allusion to an episode of "Happy Days" wherein The Fonz jumps  
his motorcycle over a tank with a large shark in it. It has come to  
symbolize something that has reached the end of its relevance/ 
plausibility/shelf-life.
