Greg, It really couldn't have been the summer of 1981 as the John Peel session on it was recorded in December 1981 ... from what I recall it appeared as a posthumous release (ie. With sections : THE END and THE BEGINNING) and included the artwork originally earmarked for the Empire Song single (but they couldn't get the permission). Just by chance I picked up my cassette from HMV in Birmingham (priced @ £4) when I was visiting my sister (who was living at the time in Smethwick !!!).

I knowthere's a mistake below...I bought a copy of the limited 2000 copy cassette in Houston, TexASS in the summer of 1981, so it must have been released then instead of 1983! I also got it autographed by Geordie and and angry Jaz in 1994 at Newbury Comics (record store) in Harvard Square!
