Does anyone recall the TV series Millenium? I remember the first one opening up
with a Rob Zombie song (More human than human) that cuts into NIN (Hey Pig)  with 
the guy in the stripper booth then later on in the film the person in the grave with the mouth 
all stitched up.  I found it amazing but quite disturbing to say the least. I still enjoy that show a lot.

I don't know if I'd classify it as horror, but it was spooky as fuck.

Als, nowadays there's this big gray area of movies that are disturbing, but which are ot traditional horror films. Someone mentioned HENRY: PORTRAIT OF A SERIAL KILLER. In that vein you have a lot of what is called the "New French Extremity" movement: IRREVERSIBLE and I STAND ALONE -- bitter, sick, bleak-as-fuck movies that are chilling and unnerving in a way that's different from, say THE SHINING, which I also count among the creepiest movies of all time.

There is creepy and frightening in the sense of SALO: 120DAYS OF SODOM, or in the vein of HILLS HAVE EYES. The latter is like Halloween season scary; the former is a disturbing movie. There's so much Asian horror now that it's als hard to keep track of, like the 3 EXTREMES set, etc.
