If you want to use it at work make sure it's one you can access through
the company system, test it out first. Other than that the limits these
days are crazy, Gmail is at least 2GB, hotmail is 5 last time I checked
but I don't like Micro$oft.

I'd recommend Google (gmail), only real company that can keep Microsoft in
check...their anti-spam is good too. They also offer loads of other
services on top of gmail...
