I think he's a pretty good actor, opposite to you i do like "Signs" (the end may be bad, but the suspense along all the movie -just before the end- is awesome. Besides i love the UFO-Alien movies/topics), still his acting isn't very remarkable in this one. He was ok in 8mm, but on the other hand he was very good in Gladiator -he made a great tyrant- and in his role as Johnny Cash was very nice too. Javier mexcity
