hello, i've finally signed on here as i was tired of reading the posts over folkdevil's shoulder ...

i too second another l.a. show, maybe at the EL REY :) ... slightly better security

I had a great time last night, felt a bit uncomfortable for a moment as i would up next to a few gang members who came to see the first band (did anyone else notice the guys with matching jackets that had an O on the sleeve?)... yeah, those guys were VERY serious.  

anyway... hope it's not another four years until the next show!

 They should have added more dates, period. People need to fly over to NY or Chicago just to see Killing Joke ;).

I know. and my husband saw 
  several people being kicked out by the security, he was way back top enjoy the 
  show. I was in front of the stage, between Geordie and Jaz and I could not see 
  the commotion going on, only felt crunched against the gate numerous 
  times.  The venue was packed to the gills to really see what was going on 
  behind the first row, but I could feel the slam pit ;).

Considering teh circumstances, I was actually 
  surprised the security let the moshing go on unimpeded. By the encore, I could 
  see there were a few guys really on the verge of going off and breaking 
  heads.
