Lol, that's priceless. *lols* I think we've all been there in our own fashion.

Here's one for ya - First time I ever heard The Dead Kennedy's when I
was 14, a friend made a cassette copy from vinyl of "In God We Trust
Inc." - Being that it is a 12"ep - my idiot friend played the record at
33 1/3 instead of 45rpm - for about 4 months I thought that is what punk
rock sounded like - confused. The music is so fast anyway that it
"kinda" sounded normal....The fact that I gave it many listens before
realizing it is stupid. I then borrowed the record and was blown away by
how fast it was - what an idiot - it scared me for a while really. Now
THAT's a great thread - "Embarrassing punk rock moments!" - We ALL have
them... Especially those of us who now have deep passion and knowledge
of it.

Yes, now let's forget this and uhm move on! Ahem.

Seriously, for the longest time I have believed D.I. and D.I.'s (Drunk
Injuns) were the same band. Okay, egg on my face.

It's kind of like their being two The Mob's I guess, one from NYC, one
from the UK, etc.
