I love history. Take this story below, for example:



One of the Great Moguls of India was literally surrounded by a multitude of
servants of all shapes, sizes and description, amongst them, five hundred
eunuchs to guard his harem. One day, ultra-bored, the Great Mogul arranged
for his eunuchs to race across five hundred miles of India’s hottest,
driest, snake-and-scorpion-infested deserts. The winner would get a purse of
gold coins as his prize.



To cut a long story short, the race was run, won and the prize paid.



And that, very simply, was the start of the Indian Knackerless 500.
