Yeah, pressure we don't want but our own advice is to apply pressure, so... it's for the best! It's just a bad tasting medicine, innit ;)

RE: the whole "shyness" thread...
...talk about putting on the pressure for shy people to come out of their shell I bit.

Recently kicked in again (especially when planning going to a concert) for me since all
but 1 friend has moved far away (as in San Fran', Seattle, etc.) but ya make do.

Haha, I have an email typed up ready to send out Jo, about how we should all wear Jester's hats to identify ourselves :-) Sometimes (rarely) I write my replies and don't send them until I have read the all the emails in my inbox, because invariably someone else has already covered the same ground.

Check this out for a laugh: the other night I went to Foo Fighters with this girl that I met under serendipitous circumstances...2 mins into it she goes to me "SPARK UP!" ...I had a joint in my pocket and I almost busted it out, then I realised she was doing that annoying thing people do whenever I go out...they expect me to wave my fucking body around like a raver. Hahahaha. For starters we're in the bloody seated section...whose dumb idea was that?!

PPS: Most of the male gatherers should be recognisable, from that questionnaire that went around a while ago it seems the average male height is 6'8" or something...

I go through bouts of being undersocialised and it can make social situations daunting.
Perhaps all similarly 'shy' people should wear red flashing noses at gigs so that we can spot each other in darkened corners?

Jo's totally fucking right dude - when KJ come on you're going to forget everything that has been
fucking with you the past year or so. I'm wondering if I can actually face socialising when KJ play
London - I might just stay anonymous, (like the 25th anniversary gigs) so you're not entirely on
your own in feeling that way. I've never gotten on with humans! Except the few...

So anyway, fucking GO.

Get yourself there Damon. Make yourself.
The LA gigs will probably kickstart you with enough inspiration and enthusiasm give you a leg-up out of the doldrums.
Paul wouldn't want you moping about.
Not meaning to sound flippant but sacrifice your depression to go.
