Bill hicks, who died of cancer at a young age in the earky90s (like 
1993, right?) -- get all his material from DENIS LEARY!?! Sacrilege!

Hicks was pre-Leary, a real singular gem in American comedy. He was more 
like a proto-Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert type figure but with a much 
more darker, bitter side. The big social issues when he was doing comedy 
were the US's inane drug war, Dan Quayle, the dumbing down of music to 
vanilla Ice proportions, etc., etc.
