Well the other possibility, not to call your friend a whatever, but is that
anyone unscrupulous enough to fob these kind of loans onto people for a
living, is probably going to have a different set of morals…

 

My landlady for my flat is the editor for a glossy property magazine in
Auckland, one of the most over-inflated real estate markets in the world.
Median house price of nearly quarter of a million NZ dollars (NZ is over 80C
USD at the moment) when median incomes are around $NZ60K. She sold this
place to her parents about 3 months ago, just before the shit started to hit
the fan….

 

I still get her magazine delivered here for free, I read it just to see the
self-justification of people who are so committed to a certain position that
they have to either ignore or discredit a whole bunch of stuff, or they
re-interpret anything so that it agrees with their position. It’s pretty
laughable.

I had a friend doing these bullshit loans- he put his own parents in one!

I think many of them just didn't see anything wrong with it- obviously if
your gonna  put your parents in one..
