[kj] Mini gathering in Auckland NZ

Just a brief note, I met up with the Iron Woman herself, Jane Shadbolt, last
night at the Datsun’s gig. Bongo was originally planning to come but
unfortunately couldn’t make it (see you on 20th at Missing Teeth tho!), so
this was technically the smallest gathering possible, but always nice to
meet another Gatherer.

 

The Bellray’s opened (I was pretty impressed, had a brief yarn to the singer
and guitarist after), Dirtbombs (not bad) and that Datsuns…who we missed 90%
of because by that point we were too busy Gathering. And drinking.

 

Looking forward to meeting more Gatherers if I can dredge up the funds to
come over to Europe / UK in Sept / Oct to see Killing Joke (esp the gig on
Oct 3 my birthday :-)).

 

Suppose I had better go in and do an honest half-days hung over work now…
