Graçias Javier , most amusing

Subject: [kj] Adorations mexican cover / ripp off

Finally found this track by this girl named Zü. As far as i remember she had
one single that was aired from time to time in a couple of mexican rock
stations circa 1994. Who were her band and where did she came from that's
something i don't know . She released only one album on Culebra Records -the
BMG label dedicated to mexican rock- so it was kind of big deal for a
band/woman nobody knew. I guess she was the black-sheep "darkie" daughter of
some "important executive" or something like that because the production is
pretty decent and, well we all know getting signed by a big label is not
easy at all.
I was pretty active with my band by that time surrounding the underground
scene (basically punk-garage-goth stuff) and nobody knew a shit about this
Zü girl. Remember (circa 1994) my ex-wife got the CD borrowed from a friend
of her, and i didn't realize this song named "Suicidio" (Suicide) was
actually "Adorations"! can't remember if KJ were credited in the CD, but i
don't think so. The lyrics have nothing to do with Adorations, and the music
is actually a pretty good cover of the original, the guitar player got the
Geordie sound pretty good imho.

Zü didn't get almost any recognition, i guess this is because most of the
tracks (if not all) of the album are covers and rip-offs of bands like
Paralisis Permanente, Los Vegetales and Corcobado from Spain; and Killing
Joke (Adorations) and PIL (Rise) there are two or three more tracks that
sound familiar to me, but can't recognize their origin.

Enjoy, remember it will be up only one week.
