Actually, the Nazis appropriated the plants in the thirties, so they weren't "owned by Ford".

Ford Werkes, a division of Ford, manufactured light infantry vehicles for the Nazi army. American bombers found themselves in the odd position of having to bomb plants in Germany owned by Ford because, well, those plants were cranking out German army vehicles! Ford's own website admits/has pics of this: http://media.ford.com/article_display.cfm?article_id=10378?

Ford sued the US government for these losses and the motherfuckers won compensation from the US govt.?
?
There are a lot of unflattering stories like this, like IBM selling Nazis adding machines; and Volkswagen and others making equipment for the Nazis, and a lot of those companies are not only still around today, but are doing just fine for themselves.?
